Sometimes products or orders may not appear in your Blanka account. This is usually caused by publishing errors, missing SKUs, or e-commerce store connection issues.
Common Issues & How to Fix Them
1. Missing or Incorrect SKUs
Blanka relies on SKUs to identify products. Without valid SKUs:
Products won’t appear in your order list.
Orders may not be linked correctly to your inventory.
How to Fix: Products with missing SKUs need to be updated, follow these steps:
Go to My Products in your Blanka dashboard.
Verify all active products have valid SKUs.
Publish or republish products to update Blanka’s system.
For missing products, consider placing a manual order to trigger detection.
2. Publishing Errors
Products must be published correctly from your Blanka dashboard. Unpublished items may not sync with your store (Shopify, Wix, etc.).
How to Fix: To sync products to your store, follow these steps:
Refresh Your Account
If you encounter publishing errors, try the following steps:
Disconnect your store from your Blanka account.
Uninstall and reinstall the Blanka app on your store account.
If the issue persists, contact Blanka support to have your store disconnected on the backend before reconnecting.
Complete Test Order
Log in to your online store and create a manual order for any missing product.
Mark the order as Paid so Blanka can detect it.
Verify the order appears under Customer Orders in Blanka.
Run a test order to confirm products are correctly detected.
Redirection to Membership Purchase Page
If publishing redirects you to a membership purchase page, it may indicate an issue with your account or store connection. Follow these steps:
Ensure that Blanka is installed in Shopify and linked to the correct Shopify store URL.
If the wrong store is linked:
Disconnect the incorrect store from your Blanka account.
Sign out of your Blanka account.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Sign back in to the intended Blanka account.
Connect the correct Shopify store URL.
After reconnecting, attempt to publish again.
3. Store Connection Issues
Blanka requires your e-commerce store to be connected. If the integration is inactive or broken, orders and products won’t sync.
How to Fix: To confirm your store is connected to Blanka, follow these steps: If you suspect an issue with your store connection, verify the following:
Ensure that Blanka is installed in Shopify and linked to the correct Shopify store URL.
If the wrong store is linked, follow these steps:
Disconnect the incorrect store from your Blanka account.
Sign out of your Blanka account.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Sign back in to the intended Blanka account.
Connect the correct Shopify store URL.
Go to the Integrations Page on your Blanka dashboard.
Make sure your Shopify, Wix, or other supported store is active and properly linked.
Preventive Best Practices
Always assign valid SKUs before publishing products.
Republish products after updating SKUs or making major changes.
Check your store connection regularly, especially after updates.
Clear your browser cache periodically to reflect changes accurately.
Sign out of your Blanka account and sign back in after clearing your browser cache to ensure proper synchronization.
