Account Deactivation

Account deactivation is when Blanka pauses an account that hasn't logged in nor placed orders in 12 months. Nothing is deleted, the account is simply put on hold until the merchant logs back in and reactivates it.

We miss you when you're gone! If it's been a while since you last logged in, here's what to expect. After 12 months with no login and no orders on the Free Plan, we'll deactivate your account to help keep our platform running smoothly. But don't worry, nothing is getting lost!

Your products, brand setup, logos, and settings all stay safely saved and waiting for you.

Whenever you're ready to come back, just log in and you'll pick up right where you left off. Here's a closer look at how it all works.

Why did I get an email about my account being deactivated?

We send this notice to merchants on the Free Plan that haven't logged in and haven't placed an order in the past 12 months. It's just a heads up. If this is your account, you have 30 days from the email to log in and keep everything active. No login is needed if you're simply not using Blanka anymore and are fine letting it go inactive.

Does this apply to paid plans too?

No. This process only applies to accounts on the Free Plan that meet both conditions above: no login and no orders in the past 12 months. If you're on a paid plan, or you've logged in or ordered recently, this doesn't apply to you.

What counts as activity that keeps my account active?

Logging in to your Blanka account resets the clock. You don't need to place an order, just sign in within the 30 day window.

What happens if I do nothing?

If there's no login within 30 days of the warning email, your account will be deactivated. You'll get a confirmation email when that happens.

Will I lose my products, brand setup, or logos if my account is deactivated?

No. Nothing is deleted. Your account information, brand setup, products, logos, and settings are all retained on our end. Deactivation just pauses the account. You can log back in and pick up where you left off whenever you're ready.

Can I still access my dashboard or place orders while my account is deactivated?

Not until you reactivate. When you log in, you'll land on a Welcome Back screen instead of your dashboard, letting you confirm you want to turn your account back on.

How do I reactivate my account?

Log in with your existing Blanka credentials. Since your account is deactivated, you'll land on a Welcome Back screen showing your account and the date it was deactivated. Select "Reactivate My Account" to confirm. If you have custom products, we'll regenerate them at that point, which usually takes about a minute. Once that finishes, you'll land right on your dashboard and can browse products, customize favorites, or order samples and more. If you're not ready to reactivate yet, you can select Not now, back to login and nothing will change.

What happens to my store connection while my account is inactive?

Nothing. If you had a store connected before (Shopify or Wix), it stays connected the whole time, we don't disconnect it. If you haven't used that store in a while, you may just want to check the connection is still working the way you left it. And if you'd rather connect a new or different store when you come back, you can do that anytime from your dashboard.

Is there a deadline to reactivate, or does my account get deleted eventually?

There's no deadline. You can reactivate anytime. We'll be here whenever you're ready to come back.

Will I be charged anything to reactivate?

No. Reactivating a Free Plan account doesn't cost anything.
