Label Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
As the seller, you are responsible for ensuring your products and labels meet all applicable laws and regulations in your region. The guidelines below outline general requirements and best practices, but it’s important to stay informed and compliant with any updates or local variations.
Label Requirements for Products Sold in North America
In the United States, the FDA requires cosmetic labels to include:
Product identity
Net quantity of contents
Directions for safe use
Warnings
Ingredient list
Period after opening (PAO)
Name and place of business (address or website)
These details ensure your products meet regulatory standards and give consumers the information they need to use your products safely and confidently.
How Blanka Helps with Compliant Labelling
Blanka currently includes on all applicable* products:
Product identity
Net quantity of contents
Directions for safe use
Warnings
Ingredient list
Period after opening (PAO)
To fully meet FDA guidelines, Blanka also offers the option to add your brand name and business information on an additional label.
Cost: $2 per product per order
Fulfillment: May extend processing time slightly
*Please note: Certain products are exempt due to size (i.e pencils). Blanka does not include these details on the label.
How to Request Additional Labels
Place your order as usual in the Blanka app.
Email [email protected] with:
Your order number
The website link or business address you’d like printed on the label
A request to add compliant labels
Our Support team will send you an invoice for the additional label service.
Payment must be made within 24 hours to avoid fulfillment delays.
Once paid, we’ll print and apply the additional labels to your products.
White products: white labels
Black products: black labels
Please note: If you’d like to confirm exact label placement, please email us before requesting the service. Currently, label placement cannot be customized.
Outside of North America
If you sell in another region, you’re responsible for ensuring your labels meet your country’s regulations. Please research your local requirements before selling.
